PLxSU Blog Hop ~ First Day of School

I'm joining in this week with a fun Stampin' Up! Project Life (PLxSU) blog hop. Just so you can see a little of what some of us have been up to lately and hopefully get inspired along the way. Welcome if you've hoped through from Carmelita's blog.

Here's a page detailing my son's first day at school back in February this year. Dressed in his favourite shorts from Aunty Liv, he was rearing to go!

Pocketless Project Life ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

The beauty of the Stampin' Up! Project Life products is that they automatically co-ordinate with plenty of products I already have. Ahhh, makes it so easy to add my own flavour. I confess, I only used a couple of little bits from our Artisan September box on this project - the decorative masks (loving them) and some embellishments.

Fall Fest Birthday ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Ok, I slipped a bit of pink into a masculine card. What's a 'masculine card' anyway? Must just be any card that you'd give to a guy, surely. So here it is - my cousin's 30th birthday card! I totally thought he could handle some pink pirouette.

Welcome if you've clicked through from the Stampin' Up! Facebook page this week. So nice of you to visit. Please see below for a full supply list to make this card. Let's face it, the Fun Fall Framelits make it pretty easy ;)

Freaky Friends Monstrous Minis - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

3x3" cards are such an easy go-to solution when you need to write a quick note. Actually, I'm sure you already know that! I've been using these cutie monsters from Freaky Friends on simple 3x3s so decided to make a few more, give them a pizza box house (oldie but a goodie) and call them a family.

When the cards have a lot of white space you can bring them to life with a patterned envelope. Thanks Envelope Punch Board!!

So here's the details if you want to make your own. The 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" envelopes fit perfectly and the cards have a little breathing room. Increase the 3 1/4" dimensions if you wish to adapt the size.

Vintage Faceted Designer Button.
Gold Metallic Baker's Twine.

{Quick Yellow Flower Tutorial - Punch four scallop circles (I used the colours listed above). Screw them up and unscrew them a few times until the two layers start separating. Gently pull the two layers of card stock apart - it's all good if they rip a bit here and there, that's part of the look. Adhere all 8 halves furry side up with a small dot of glue in the centre of each one. Punch a hole in the middle and thread through some baker's twine which is attached to a button. Use the twine at the back to tie to your box.}

Hope you had fun - hop on over to Teneale's blog next.
